oServe as the liaison of the NYS Justice Center for vulnerable individuals who have been alleged to have been victims of abuse and neglect and their families; o Advise and consult with the individual receiving services, parents and guardians with respect to any complaints or issues; review and answer questions with respect to specific complaints by consulting with responsible and appropriate staff; and perform other duties as assigned by the, Unit director; o Provide information, resources and referrals at conferences, information sessions and presentations. o Provide information regarding legal and investigative process and resources (service providers, treatment and education programs, legal assistance, and financial assistance). o Respond to referrals, to provide information, referral and linkage to services and programs based on their need. o Provide victims and their families with information regarding their rights and other relevant information related to abuse/neglect cases. o Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote the Agency's mission. o Provide emotional support and crisis intervention. o Proficiency with electronic databases and entry of information. o Attend quarterly staff meetings and other trainings as required at statewide regional offices. o Assist with coverage in other regional offices as needed.

Salary Range:
From $56604 to $71980 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Four years of experience as a professional advocate or service provider in the field of rehabilitation, developmental disabilities or mental health. A Bachelor's Degree may be substituted for two years of the experience and a Master's Degree may be substituted for three years of the experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
