Summary:
As a Production Associate, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing processes, ensuring the efficient production and high-quality output of RDS structures.
This position involves handling materials, operating Kabar Sonic Welders, and sewing machinery as part of a fast-paced, detail-oriented team.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our strict standards for military and commercial use.
Key
Responsibilities:
Material Handling:
Prepare, verify, and move raw materials and components to production areas.
Ensure accurate tracking and recording of material usage.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of the work environment to uphold safety and quality standards.
Kabar Operator:
Operate Kabar Sonic Welding equipment to join materials using ultrasonic welding techniques.
Adjust machine settings for different materials and specifications.
Monitor the quality of welds, making adjustments as necessary to meet product specifications.
Stitcher:
Operate industrial sewing machines to stitch and assemble large fabric components into finished structures.
General Duties:
Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
Participate in quality assurance checks to ensure products meet durability and design standards.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify and resolve production issues.
Provide feedback on process improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in textile manufacturing or related field preferred.
Proven experience as a material handler, machine operator, or stitcher in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings.
Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to stand for extended periods.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
This role requires working in a manufacturing setting, which includes exposure to noise, heavy machinery, and physical materials handling.
Safety gear and training will be provided.
