Legal Assistant - Real Estate

This is an opening for a legal assistant with at least three years' experience working in residential real estate.
This is a full time position (37.
5 hours per week) with benefits.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
o Draft and edit legal documents for residential purchase and sale transactions; understanding of calculating statements of sale.
o Maintain legal files including general organization, index transaction documents, and organize files for closing and post-closing.
o Prepare title commitments and final title policies.
o Maintain and track schedules, deadlines and calendars.
o Schedule meetings, conferences and closings.
o Coordinate travel arrangements.
o Enter, edit and/or finalize billable time and client billings.
o Research and respond to inquiries and requests for information.
o Provide other support as necessary.
Requirements o Excellent word processing skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
o Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other team members.
o Ability to handle and adjust effectively to competing deadlines and priorities.
o Typing speed of 50
wpm.
o Excellent organizational and communication skills.
o Reliable transportation.
o Client service focused.
o High level of professionalism.
o Overtime be required as necessary.
Salary Description $19 - $24 Recommended Skills Communication Customer Service Microsoft Word Professional Attitude Real Estates Self Motivation Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
