Our organization is facing rapid growth & we're looking to hire entry level accountant assistants to help manage our salvage yards accounting function.

Position Overview:
Monday - Friday, day shift.
Will be based in Binghamton, NY on site.
$18 per hour to start.
The accounting assistant makes deposits, completes daily paperwork to balance the books for the yard.
Assists with POs, aging credits, NFS/Chargeback recovery and reconciles accounts daily Accounting assistants will help to verify approval of all invoices and check requests.
Initiating payments.
Verifrying validity of account discrepancies.
Making adjustments to accounts as needed.
Maintaining accurate records.
Preparing accounting reports.
Assisting in daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly close.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience in a position that involved cash handling or data entry preferred.
Diverse backgrounds will do ell in this position:
Previous experience in a cash handling role, gas station opener/closer, restaurant manager, shift manager etc.
Must have high attention to detail, and be highly organized.
Strong math skills.
Strong data entry and computer operation skills.
Strong verbal communication.
