This role has the opportunity to grow into other responsibilities such as social monitoring, listening, paid social, and community engagement.
Impeccable, responsive follow-through in a real-time environment and experienced executing day-to-day social marketing, as well as writing content that will engage and build strong communities.
The ability to work on a team and share insights and feedback with your peers and other social coordinators is necessary.
This is an agency role that requires professionalism with clients and a sense of teamwork.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Develop 8-10 monthly posts for 10-15 content calendars with emphasis on encouraging conversations and engagement.
Create on-brand graphics and copy that are polished and consistent.
Properly track your work and prioritize urgent requests.
Define and maintain the voice of each client while frequently innovating and experimenting with new tactics.
Develop social reports with the guidance of the Social Media Manager.
Utilize Trello, Social Pilot, and Confluence to properly track tasks and resources.
Create and implement strategies that increase engagement, and grow social audiences, with a never stop experimenting attitude.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Solid understanding of all relevant social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, forums, groups, blogs, hashtags, etc.
A passion for creating shareable social content.
Resourceful, creative and passionate.
Ability to interact and collaborate with colleagues from all levels of the organization.
Demonstrate creativity, be able to document the creation of social media content Experience in copywriting, graphic design, and photo/video.
High attention to detail Drive to take risks and experiment with new ideas.
Bonus points with experience with Social Media scheduling software, Canva, and photo/video.
Understanding of social media marketing practices and ideas.
This position can be done in our Binghamton office and will offer a hybrid option after 6 months of employment.
