Duties Descriptions:
Under the direction of the department supervisor the Maintenance Assistant will be expected to perform a variety of semiskilled maintenance, repair and related tasks. These include, but are not limited to:
o Perform a variety of semi-skilled jobs assisting a skilled trade person with work involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance. o Work independently to perform preventive maintenance of various types of equipment and make small on-site repairs. o Perform minor maintenance tasks independently - install shelving, hang pictures, changing light bulbs. o Operate tools and machines necessary to perform the semi-skilled tasks assigned. o Operate trucks, snow plows, and power tools in a safe manner. o Assist in other maintenance areas as needed.

From $37507 to $46103 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Two years of experience in maintenance or mechanical work under the supervision of a skilled trade worker or completion of an appropriate two-year technical school course. Must have a valid driver's license.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
